Great location and really nice flat. Liked the fridge stocked with eggs, milk, oj etc and the bottle of wine was appreciated.
Could be cleaner - there were hairs everywhere that were far too dark to be from our family! Also the shower head would not stay in place so had to be hand-held which was annoying. Otherwise we were happy with our stay.
The overall standard of fittings etc was good and when we found the toaster not working it was immediately replaced.
We were disappointed with the quality of the bed. The mattress tipped to one side - presumably because it has usually been used by a single occupant.
original concept, very friendly staff, well organized
no parking facility, but puplic parkings nearby at reasonable prices
the appt reservation staff was helpfull via the phone
the location right next to the harbour - the view via the window was rather unappealing...
Very nice apartment, lots of space and comfortable, would stay here again .
The port location is noisy in the evening because of the local pubs, maybe because we were there at the weekend.
Harbourside apartment which as not double glazed at front so
Apartment at harbourside and no double glazing at front and if more than 2 in one bed apartment , sofa-bed in living room and extremely noisy from early in the morning (7 am sat/sun) staff extremely helpful and great communication , would not stay again due to noise and passing ladies on corner on way out / in at night .
Everything! Location, comfort and cleanliness, fact that kitchen was well-equipped, great bath and shower, comfy bed, generous breakfast.
Not a fan of the flooring! Pillows could have been comfier! But neither spoilt our short stay!!
How clean the apartment was.
It only had one bedroom with a double bed. There was 4 adults sharing. The other 2 guests had to sleep on a sofa bed in the living room. The sofa bed was extremly lumpy and hurt their backs. The hotel was hard to find and was not as near to the shops as it said.
Lovely, clean apartment decorated to a high standard. Comfortable and quiet. Only 5 minutes walk from Union Street and both myself and my husband enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine! The continental breakfast was a great time-saver for us in the morning.
When walking in through the front door to get to the apartment there was a smell of wet/damp carpet as if something had been spilt on the tartan carpet in the hallway and it needed a shampoo to freshen it up.
